안산시가 최근 몇 년 사이에 재정여건이 악화되고 있다는 것은 주지의 사실입니다. 한편 행정자치부에서 매년 실시하고 있는 지방자치단체의 재정운용평가에서도 2년 연속으로 최하위 등급을 받고 있어 안산시 재정운용 방향에 대한 검토와 바람직한 방안 마련이 요구되고 있습니다. 이에 안산지방자치개혁시민연대와 안산참여예산네트워크는 안산시 재정운용 현황과 문제점에 대해 공유하고 중장기적인 관점에서 어떠한 과제를 도출할 수 있는지 안산시, 안산시의회, 전문가, 지역언론, 시민사회가 함께 모여 논의할 수 있는 자리를 마련하였으니 많은 관심과 참여를 바랍니다.
